The LICW Morse Practice Page

Now that we had a curriculum, we needed a way to deliver it. We turned to the G4FON trainer, but it was not capable of slowing down to 12 WPM. Our friend Ray, G4FON had recently become a silent key and we were not able to get the source code to make modifications.

Fortunately, Randy KN4YRM had recently adapted the SC Phillips morse-pro library and created a basic trainer for his personal use. We approached Randy about further developing the trainer to support the Beginners Carousel. Through Randy’s tireless efforts with support from the core development team, we were able to develop the LICW Morse Practice Page, a web-based, cross-platform tool that functions on any PC, Mac, tablet, or smart phone.
