The nascent MorseBass project is a project of Elfenworks Productions LLC in association with LICW to help teach Morse Code. Morse Code is a system that uses combinations of dots and dashes to represent letters and numbers and is useful in communication. On this page you will find various works in progress on directions that could be helpful in teaching morse code using rhythms and music. https://elfenworksproductions.com/morsebass.php

LICW experimented by incorporating the Elfenworks CW Chat Words into Beginners Carousel 2. That is the point QSO words begin to form. Musical rhythm was introduced to facilitate the perception of those words as rhythmic sounds and positively influence learning code. The feedback from students and instructors was mixed. No conclusive evidence was found to support the hypothesis that musical rhythm positively influenced learning code.

Elfenworks is working on a project to help stroke victims communicate with code and to aid that learning with musical rhythm.
